My name is Helena Robert Msompola from Tanzania, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Finance professional with a Master’s degree in Business Administration–Corporate Management from Mzumbe University.
I currently serve as the Founder and CEO of Heroic Financial Services Ltd , a growing microfinance and online money transfer company that aims to empower underserved entrepreneurs particularly women by offering accessible loans with flexible repayment options.
With a solid background in tax accountingand financial management, I’ve previously worked as a Finance Manager at Egypro East Africa Ltd, where I led strategic financial planning and managed multimillion-shilling infrastructure projects in collaboration with companies like Vodacom, Ericsson, Tigo (Honora), and the Ministry of Communication.
My leadership there was defined by transforming financial challenges into growth opportunities and motivating my team toward operational excellence.
I’m also honored to serve as Head of Finance for the Commonwealth Business Women Africa (CBWA) Tanzania Chapter, where we work to amplify women’s voices in business and leadership.
My journey includes training youth and women on financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
I’m passionate about purpose-driven leadership, financial inclusion, and mentoring the next generation of change-makers.
